These classes are designed to teach the basic steps of knitting and crocheting, and to expand the yarn enthusiast’s library of techniques. Call the store to book your class. Cancellations within 48 hours of class will not be issued a credit.  Store credit will be offered to be used towards another class if cancellation occurs prior to 48 hours before start of class.  No exceptions.

Absolute Beginner:  Need no basic skill sets.

Beginner:  Know the long tail cast on, knit, purl, join yarns and bind off.  For crocheting, know single, half double, and double crochet stitch along with the slipstitch.

Advanced Beginner:  Have done some shaping, seaming and have followed some patterns.  Understands gauge.

Intermediate:  Have completed a garment and have done some stitch work.

Beginner Knit

A three-part class for the very beginning knitter. You will learn to cast on, the knit stitch, purl stitch, to cast off and some finishing techniques. The best part is that this beginning class will leave you with various scarves.

Everything old is new again and hairpin lace is no exception.  With the use of a loom, crochet hook and yarn or ribbon, you will learn this simple technique.  Construct multiple strips, weave them together and make garments, trims and more.
